VLIWASORB SUPERABSORBENT DRESSING

Vliwasorb® Superabsorbent Dressing is a flexible, soft wound dressing which is used for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds. Vliwasorb® has absorbent core with superabsorbent polymers which can absorb up to 20 times their weight which means the dressing has a very high capacity to absorb and retain wound exudate. Vliwasorb® can offer cost and time savings with fewer dressing changes and can be used effectively under compression without risk of maceration. Vliwasorb® Superabsorbent Dressings are indicated for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds, such as pressure injuries, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, postoperative wounds healing by second intention, laparotomy wounds, on fistulae, and superficial 2nd degree burns.
