Mechanism of Action – Sanyrene is used to prevent the occurrence of pressure injuries. Sanyrene improves local blood circulation and increased skin resistance. Sanyrene allows the formation of a lipid protective membrane which accelerates epidermal cell renewal. Sanyrene strengthens and oxygenates tissue for a better skin integrity. The active ingredients of Sanyrene are; fatty acid, linoleic acid & vitamin E based formula.
Recommended use – Sanyrene is indicated for the use on patients at risk of developing a pressure injury. Can also be used on reddened skin (erythema) which disappears with finger pressure. This product is hypo-allergenic and paraben free.
Regime –Apply 1 spray of Sanyrene onto areas at risk of skin breakdown due to friction, shear, and pressure. Apply gently with fingertips for one minute. Repeat application 2 to 3 times a day on each area at risk or every time the patient is repositioned.
Precautions– Sanyrene is not to be applied to broken skin or wounds
