Indications
Knitted vascular prostheses impregnated with bovine collagen are suitable for arterial reconstructions where application of an artificial vascular graft of corresponding lumen is indicated. These types of prostheses can be used in aorto-femoral, ilio-femoral regions, femoropopliteal region above the knee joint, in the region of extra-cranial arteries, and for extraanatomical bypasses. Using these prostheses, arterial reconstructions can be carried out without great loss of blood.
Notice
The prosthesis is implanted when the patient is fully heparinized.
